Photo Makeup Editor is a photograph edition tool for Windows. It was designed to let you apply "virtual" makeup to faces. It has quite a few makeup tools such as lipstick, face powder, rouge, suntan, eye shadow, eye liner, eye pencil, lightening and hair color. When you select any of these tools, a brush appears on the screen and by clicking and dragging the brush on your picture, you apply the makeup. You can change the color, brightness, hardness of the effect, and modify the size of the brush.
Applying these effects is very intuitive and the results are very good, provided that you are patient and don't overdo anything. Photo Makeup Editor seems to have an unlimited number of undo and redo commands, so you can go back and forth if you make any mistakes or unhappy with the results. I know virtually nothing about make up, but I was able to apply some nice colors to one of the sample faces included with the application. I also managed to create something worthy of a Frankenstein movie.
There are some extras, like the virtual surgery tool, which allows you to transform a face around by dragging and dropping.
All in all, the application is very easy to use and even fun. If the user has imagination, it can produce great-looking images.
